Ultra Fog
The first real work on building fog 2.0 has begun.

best way to connect the tubing to the machine
what effects do we want to achieve

This is. …..a test!
EIA-485
EIA-485 is the stand on which dmx512 is based. It tells you how the signals are to be manifest, on what kind of medium etc. The dmx standard, tells you how the data is to be formed so the devices know what they are dealing with. I might have found the specifications for it, how ever it is also for sale
3 parts
1) dmx signal processor, can send and/or receive a dmx signal
2) wireless transmitter or receiver, sends and/or receives radio signals
3) a bridging device that communicates between 1) and 2)
Tie a Knot with out a String
With running our own lighting rig there is one issue we face over and over. Lots and Lots of wires. As if a small club stage doesn’t have enough already. Well they make wireless dmx, but i am not lighting the pyramids. Maybe guitar center? . Hum not terrible, but for a glorified wlan set up thats a lot (also thats just 1 not a pair).

No, its not free. Maybe you can find copy of it some where on the tubes. But if you going to build anything thats dmx512 based, you will need that or be very very lucky with a coat hanger.
